The make-up industry is a highly competitive marketplace. So when start-up K7L came to us with a high-end makeup line for the Kuwait market, our team was eager for the challenge. The creative direction included representing K7L as a comparable option to well established brands such as Mac and Sephora. Our web design strategists decided on an editorial style that incorporated heavy black and white photography. We also came up with the idea for a custom makeup selector, as we knew the target audience would love the feeling of having a makeup artist curating their selection. This created a user experience that was tailored to the customer’s personal taste and created additional prominence around the products and how to apply the makeup.
